Care Tips

Cleaning
Wipe your scissors with a soft, clean cloth after each haircut to prevent the buildup of chemicals and hair that may affect their performance. Then, on a clean cotton pad, apply a bit of lubricating oil to clean the blades of the scissors.

Lubrication
After cleaning and drying, open your scissors to a 90-degree angle and apply a drop of oil to the pivot point. This removes dirt and leaves a protective layer of oil, ensuring smooth operation. Do this daily to extend the life of your scissors.

Why Do We Lubricate and Clean Daily?
Daily maintenance improves performance and extends the life of your scissors, protecting them from moisture, chemicals, and impurities (saliva, hair, dirt).

Storage
Keep the blades closed when not in use to prevent damage and do not allow others to use your scissors for non-hairdressing tasks. Always store the scissors in the protective case provided.

Sharpening
Sharpen your scissors at the approved TOP DOG service center to maintain the strength of the blade. Contact us for further information.
